Daniel May's observation of 12 May 2026 describes a recurring lighthouse keeper and the name Elias Thorne. It is a particular observer's report.
Hamilton and Mimno studied 20,000 stories from four models using five short English prompts. They report the first name Elias in 26.5% of the texts. Their extraction excluded surnames, so this figure does not measure the frequency of the full name Elias Thorne. Read the preprint and its method.
